We’d like to survey what airlines are doing to improve their airplanes with the poor fuel mileage. We’d appreciate it if you could share your experience.
1. Are you doing an analysis of aircraft fuel consumption performance through the APMS program provided by Boeing? Or, using any other tools?
2. In your company, are the APMS results shared with the maintenance department for the purpose of managing the aircraft that have the poor fuel mileage? What kind of works do your maintenance sector perform for the aircraft with the poor fuel mileage?
3. If special check is made for the airplanes with the poor fuel mileage, how much drop or change in the APMS values (Drag, Fuel Flow, and Fuel Mileage) of an individual airplane results in a special maintenance inspection? That is, Is there a specific level (drop in APM) that is determined in advance?
