Chuck Enders has briefed us on what the FAA’s final version of the Runway Condition Assessment Matrix (RCAM) is going to be. I have my notes from the Boeing conference a few years ago about the braking coefficient values that were associated with the “performance buckets” but was wondering if anyone had a list of the value ranges the part 25 group decided upon? I know for instance that code three was a value of 0.16 but does that mean that represents the lower boundary for that condition or the mean? If anyone can help spell out the ranges for the coefficient values for each runway code that would help out a great deal. I am doing some analysis of NASA studies and want to make sure my methods are correct. Thanks!
